Die Seitenlänge des Beetes aus dem Vorjahr sei a (rotes Quadrat im Bild). Der Zuwachs in der Seitenlänge sei b. Das heurige Beet ist also a+b Kohlköpfe breit. Gefragt ist nach allen Kohlköpfen von heuer - also .
Wie groß ist der Zuwachs an Kohlköpfen (grüne Fläche im Bild) - 2 Rechtecke a mal b plus das kleine Quadrat mit Seitenlänge b. Weites wissen wir aus der Angabe, dass das genau 211 ist.
